Lack of Posts

I’m sorry for the lack of posts in the recent days.  It has been a hectic time full of family, travel and more family.  Adam was here last week.  Then I went to venice for the weekend.  Only to come back on Sunday night to take my parents around for this week in rome.  Their flight home just got cancelled due to the upcoming British Airways cabin strike…so we will see what happens.  Either they stay and wait it out, a sign that they need to enjoy Rome longer, or book an extra ticket to get back.  A lose lose situation when my dad needs to get back for work and my mom has things to attend to.  But to say the least, my days have been long, amazing, and exhausting.  I have done lots of stuff, taken them to bits and pieces of my new home and thoroughly enjoy their company.  Both have met the chef at my restaurant where I work.  Met a few friends, drank at Enoteche and eaten very well.  I haven’t had a chance to rest, and once they are gone (this doesn’t mean I am wanting them to leave), I will get out some in depth posts about what its been like to have them here and highlights of their trips.  Tonight was particularly entertaining, which I will leave at that to build up the suspense.  More to come, and I will crank some out very soon.  I miss writing it and want to get back, but my priorities are with my family (and occasionally school) at the moment.  Ciao
